Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! I thought I’d pop on here and give you a few of my current favorite things because the beginning of the weekend deserves all the confetti. And pizza. It definitely deserves pizza.

Apples and Cinnamon – I have been putting apple slices and cinnamon sticks in my water this week and it is a game changer. If you want to jazz up your water you should try this too (if you want to be extra jazzy you could add jazz apples? Sorry, that was a terrible joke).

Ipsy-Glam-Bag-February-2015Ipsy Glam Bag – Okay, I am really excited about this one! IGB is one of those monthly beauty subscriptions that are all the rage with millennials.  I have done a good job at resisting, but one of my friends posted about it the other day and I decided to give it a whirl. You only pay $10 (free shipping!) and you get 5 beauty products (based on your preferences/skin tone/etc.) and a cute little makeup bag each month. Mine comes next week and I am PUMPED about it. You can cancel it at any time – click here to learn more about it!

Essie nail color: Peak Show – This is my go-to color for both summer and winter. And spring. And sometimes fall. It’s my favorite of all time.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – GUYS. This is one of my favorite sales of the year! Mainly because Nordstrom is on the pricey side, but they have really great quality clothes. So, mark your calendars for July 20th because they will be releasing their fall line of clothes with some great deals going on. Seriously, I got a $30 dress there last year.

Strawberries – Currently I am knee deep in my summer berry obsession. This week and next ft. carton after carton of strawberries because I could eat my weight in them. However, my true summer love is watermelon – so LOOK OUT in July. Because I will be eating them for every meal.

The Seven Minute app – 246x0wFeeling lazy but still want to workout? Well I have the app for you. This bad boy actually gives you a seven minute exercise that combines cardio and strength training. You can make it longer, but lets be real with ourselves for a hot second – If we wanted to have a longer workout would we really use an app called Seven Minutes? No, no we wouldn’t. Anyways, I use this app when I feel like I need to do something to get off the couch, but I want to put in the most minimal amount of effort that is humanly possible. It’s actually an intense workout, but you can do anything for seven minutes!

Well, that’s all she wrote, folks. I hope your weekend is full of pizza and good times, mainly because that’s what I would like my weekend to be full of. Happy Friday!
